SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:
SIDE RAILS
The side rail includes a special aluminum U-section with a vertically inserted EPDM rubber sealing. It is a permanently built-in element on the sides of the protected opening. There are several variations location. At a time when the system is demounted there are covers on the groove of the lateral guidance. The covers are meant to protect these parts of the system but they also improve the overall appearance of the opening.
STOP LOG
The overall system is based on shaped aluminium stop logs with excellent mechanical properties despite their low weight. They are inserted between the posts or side rails. A special bottom stop log is always installed first, as it is additionally equipped with a microporous sill sealing coping with even larger unevenness of up to 15 mm. The stop log length depends on the required load and handling, usually approx. from 1 m to 4 m.
POST
The aluminum posts are used when protecting larger openings. They help to evenly distribute the hydrostatic pressure acting primarily on the lower stop logs. When installing a side rails, an anchor plate or stainless steel threaded sleeves with a screw cover must be built into the floor. On this fixed element is mounted the mobile element - the post which is pressed to the floor
through the sealing profile.
PRESSURE TOOLS

The stop log length depends on the required load and handling, usually approx. from 1 m to 4 m. In order to achieve maximum barrier tightness, the inserted stop logs are compressed by pressure tools to be slid into the post groove or side rail and subsequently tightened. Several types of pressure tools are available for both posts and side rails, including a lockable version eliminating inadvertent disassembly.
CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS
The positioning and the size of the barrier are always solved individually, according to customer‘s needs. Even at first glance complicated openings can be solved by this system.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION
This system does not require any complicated substructure. The basis is only the installation of fixed parts - side rails on the sides of the protected opening. Between these, when it is needed, are inserted the mobile elements - stop logs which are compressed by the pressure tools.
Usually, the opening is protected from threatening water in a few minutes.
CERTIFICATION
The mobile barrier INOVA Al was tested and subsequently certified for resistance to water leakage and mechanical resistance.
