The statutory city of České Budějovice has received a significant delivery of the FLOM mobile flood protection system, which is being deployed in the South Bohemian capital as part of efforts to strengthen protection against torrential rainfall and flood situations. The FLOM system is designed to direct water flow and protect critical areas of the city without the need for complex foundation works, and it can be rapidly deployed on various types of terrain.
In recent years, the city has been intensively working on the concept and implementation of flood‑risk mitigation measures, including the construction of mobile barriers intended to replace traditional sandbagging.
Thanks to the delivery of the FLOM system, local authorities now have access to a modern, quickly assembled, and reusable flood protection solution, contributing to the safety of residents and protection of property during high‑risk periods.
